Biography

Pufuleti is one of the best-kept secrets of Italian-German underground rap. Having emigrated to Germany at just four years old, the artist (who works as a nurse in his daily life) has transformed his cultural dualism into a unique trademark. After taking his first steps in the German language under the name Joe Space, he was reborn as Pufuleti in 2019, drawing the attention of critics and prominent labels like La Tempesta Dischi thanks to cult albums such as Tumbulata (2019) and Catarsi Aiwa Maxibon (2020), followed by avant-garde projects like RAMMBOCK and Gotico Romanzo. His style is a true "linguistic cubism": a surreal collage where Sicilian dialect clashes with German grammar and 1990s Italian commercials, all rapped over dark, lo-fi beats with a deeply nostalgic and experimental feel.
