Biography
Mamakass is an italian production duo, composers, and multi-instrumentalists composed of Fabio Dalè and Carlo Frigerio. Since their formation in 2011, they have established themselves as one of the most innovative and versatile creative forces in the italian music scene, working across genres ranging from electronic and pop to urban, funk, and indie rock. The duo is best known for their pivotal role in the coma _ cose project. As producers and co-composers for almost the entirety of the band’s discography—including hits like "mancarsi" , "post concerto" , and the sanremo entries "fiamme negli occhi" and "l'addio" —they have been instrumental in defining the "urban-cantautorato" sound that brought the band to national fame. Beyond their work with coma _ cose, Mamakass has a vast portfolio of high-profile collaborations. they have produced and arranged tracks for major italian artists such as ghali (the gold-certified "22:22"), subsonica, tommaso paradiso, arisa, j-ax, baustelle, dargen d'amico, and lo stato sociale. Their expertise extends from sound design and film scoring to live musical direction for major tours and events, such as the presentation of the milano cortina 2026 olympic games.
